Cooking method
Making syrup. In a saucepan, mix water and sugar, as soon as the sugar dissolves, turn it off (do not bring it to a boil).
Making dough. Pass the flour and baking powder through a sieve. Add melted butter. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands into crumbs. Add yogurt, and a little water (literally 1 tbsp. l.) Mix thoroughly.
We make Balushakhi. We form a ball from the dough, flatten it and squeeze it in the middle, almost through. Heat the oil. (there should be enough oil to cover them) And fry the things on low heat until golden brown. (They will start to swell - this is good, so you are doing everything right). Dip the dessert in syrup (2 minutes).
Decorate with crushed nuts on top.)
