Prepare lard for the winter! Well stored and very tasty! Many of us prepare lard for the future. Lard is harvested in different ways, frozen, or using the salting method (there is dry salting, and there is wet). I want to tell you how my mother taught me to prepare lard in brine for the winter.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 40 min

1. Boil the water, add salt and cook for 7 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, peel the garlic. The peeled cloves are grated.

3. Cut the fat into pieces that fit the size of the neck of the jar (so that they pass easily).

4. We roll each piece of fat in grated garlic, put it in a jar.

5. Do not forget to pour the layers with ground black pepper.

6. We put the bay leaf in a filled jar and fill it with brine.

7. Close the lid tightly and put it in the refrigerator.

Store the blanks in the refrigerator.
