Cooking method
Fry pieces of rye bread in the oven. Birch sap is filtered through gauze, folded in 4-5 layers. This is necessary to clear it of all debris and midges.
Pour the juice into the container in which we will insist the drink, add toasted bread, brown sugar and pre-washed raisins. Cover with a clean gauze folded in a couple of layers or any other cloth napkin.
We leave the kvass for fermentation in a warm place for 3 days. The only point to consider is that the container should not be filled to the brim, as the liquid will ferment and rise.
After the specified time, filter the drink through a fine sieve and send it to the refrigerator.
Such kvass should be consumed cold.
