Cooking method
1. The watermelon is thoroughly washed under running water, then cut into such pieces that will easily pass through the neck of the jar.
2. Fill a clean jar with watermelon slices, pour boiling water all the way to the neck, cover with a lid and set aside for 15 minutes.
3. Drain the water into a saucepan, send it to the fire, bring it to a boil again.
4. Pour salt and sugar into the jar, pour vinegar and add black pepper, pour boiling water and roll up hermetically.
5. Shake the jar so that the sugar and salt crystals dissolve faster, turn it upside down, wrap it in a blanket and leave it for a day.
We store the billet in the cellar.
