Chop 1 medium bunch of parsley, dill and green onions. Pour the juice of half a lemon, add salt and mix thoroughly, you can even mash it with your hands so that the greens become softer.
Mix the coarsely chopped capers, sprinkle with finely grated zest of half a lemon, pour olive oil and let it brew for 15-20 minutes. In such a salad, you can add a fillet of lightly salted herring or put it in a sandwich with herring.
