Step 1:
How to fry ham with garlic in a frying pan? Prepare everything you need for this.
Step 2:
Rinse chicken legs in running water and dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture from them.
Step 3:
Put the hams in a spacious bowl and sprinkle them with salt and spices. As a spice, you can use any to your taste. I added a little paprika and ground black pepper.
Step 4:
Peel the garlic and pass it through the press into the bowl to the hams. Add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil.
Step 5:
Mix all the spices with the hams, rubbing them thoroughly. Leave the ham to marinate for 1-2 hours. You can leave them for a longer time, but then put them in the refrigerator, covered with cling film.
Step 6:
For frying, preheat the pan to a hot state and pour olive oil on it. Lay out the hams and fry them in a hot frying pan on both sides.
Step 7:
The hams will be covered with a golden crust. Make the fire lower and continue to cook them for 20-25 minutes, turning them over periodically. If you want them to be crispy, then cook without a lid.
Step 8:
Pierce the ham with a knife - if light juice appears, then the chicken is ready. If the juice is pink, then let it cook a little more. Remove the finished hams from the heat and add freshly crushed garlic on top to give the meat more flavor.
Step 9:
Chicken legs turn out insanely delicious and juicy. A side dish of potatoes is perfect for them. Enjoy your meal!
Chicken can be replaced with turkey or any other type of meat at your request. But keep in mind that in this case, the cooking time and calorie content of the dish will change.
To check whether the oil has warmed up well enough in the pan, you can do it in a simple way. Lower a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can start the frying process.
If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.
