And again about carrots... Carrots are an indispensable ingredient in many recipes, but it is rare to find a recipe where carrots are the basis of a dish. And it's a pity, because the usefulness of carrots is not in doubt and it tastes like other vegetables. That's just to use it with sour cream, butter or vegetable oil, so that the carotene, which is so rich in carrots, can be absorbed by our body.
I suggest making carrots with sour cream according to the following very simple and quick recipe, which has become so popular in our family.
Carrots are washed thoroughly with a vegetable brush, cleaned and three on a coarse grater.
Walnuts cut finely.
Garlic is cleaned, washed, cut very finely or squeezed through a garlic press. Who likes it sharper, you can add 1-2 cloves.
Preparing sour cream sauce. Put sour cream in a deep cup or small bowl, add salt, pepper, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, sugar, crushed garlic. Mix everything well and beat lightly until smooth.
Add walnuts to the grated carrots and mix.
Then pour sour cream sauce and thoroughly mix everything again.
We put it in the refrigerator for impregnation for a couple of hours (as long as possible).
We put the finished salad in a salad bowl, decorate with sour cream, mint leaves and walnut halves.
Our very tasty and healthy carrots with sour cream are ready. Enjoy your meal.
