Cooking method

Cooking time: 30 min

Beat the chicken eggs well with a mixer until a fluffy foam forms and the volume doubles. At high speeds, beat for about five minutes. Add a pinch of salt to the same place. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with vegetable oil. Preheat the oven to 180 C and bake for 10 minutes. Let the omelet cool down as much as possible.
The next step is to chop the greens (dill, parsley) and chop the garlic, mix with mayonnaise. Carefully chop the crab sticks and grate the hard cheese on a large stainless steel grater.
Lubricate the cooled egg omelet with mayonnaise, which already contains herbs and garlic. After that, carefully put crab sticks and cheese on top of the omelet (it is advisable not to save on hard cheese and buy a delicious, expensive product). Twist this roll as tightly as possible and let it stand in the refrigerator for a while. Then cut the egg roll beautifully and serve it to the festive table.
Well, now a little bit about the main "highlight" of the dish - crab sticks. Crab sticks, which were made in the USSR from white fish meat, were called nothing but a delicacy. In terms of cost, they could only be compared with black caviar. Now crab sticks are a public dish, they are popular and loved by many. Crab sticks have become especially frequent "guests" in various salads and rolls.Crab sticks – what is it? This is the name of a product made from ground meat of oceanic fish (surimi). The name is radically different from the contents, there is no natural crab meat in crab sticks.
This product got into our diet not so long ago, about 30 years ago. In Europe, this product began its journey in the middle of the 20th century, in the USSR the first plant for the production of crab sticks was built in the 80s. Indeed, a few decades ago, our parents considered crab sticks a delicacy, it was compared exclusively with caviar.
The basis of crab sticks is surimi – cleaned from moisture and fat, washed fillet of fish. Many people believe that crab sticks are made from the waste of freshly caught fish, but in fact this is not the case – only fillets are used. Crab sticks do not have a special taste or smell, to remedy the situation, manufacturers add salt, starch, vegetable and egg white, vegetable oil, sugar, flavor enhancers, flavors and stabilizers. After all the additives, about 45% of minced fish turns out to be in crab sticks, but do not worry, since the dose of 25% is considered the norm.
When choosing crab sticks, be sure to familiarize yourself with the ingredients, surimi in this list should be in the first place, if minced fish is in the second or subsequent places, then crab sticks contain a minimum of fish. Housewives use crab sticks most often to prepare salads, rolls, etc., depending on the imagination of the hostess.
Bon appetit.
