Colosseum salad with bell pepper and beans

Just 30 minutes, and a bright festive salad is ready! For the first time we tried this salad together with my husband in a local cafe and we liked it so much that it became a regular guest on our table. It is prepared very easily and quickly. Choose the number of ingredients to your taste, I prefer when everything is more or less equally, well, except for onions, of course. By the way, if you have the time and desire, then you can pickle the onion, it will also turn out very tasty. Help yourself!

    For the salad we will need string beans, bell pepper, onion, canned corn, ham, mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

    Cut the string beans into pieces 2-3 cm long. Boil the beans in boiling salted water for 8-10 minutes until tender.

    Cut the onion into quarter rings.

    We throw the finished beans on a sieve and dip them in ice water for 5 minutes (it's not necessary to do this, but such an ice bath will help the beans keep green)

    We cut the bell pepper into thin plates.

    Cut the ham into small cubes.

    In a salad bowl, mix the cooled beans, ham, bell pepper, onion and corn. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix it up.
