Step 1:
How to make pasta with minced meat in a slow cooker? Prepare the products. Take high-quality pasta from durum wheat, they are tastier, healthier and less boiled. I would also advise you to take those that cook for a long time — 10 minutes or longer. But thin spaghetti is better to cook in the usual way. Any minced meat will do, I have beef, homemade. Instead of tomatoes, you can take tomato paste or canned tomatoes.
Step 2:
Peel the onion, wash and cut into small cubes.
Step 3:
Peel the tomatoes. To do this, wash them and make a cross-shaped incision on each.
Step 4:
Put the tomatoes in a bowl and pour boiling water so that they are immersed in water. Hold the tomatoes in it for 1 minute and transfer them to another bowl, already with cold water.
Step 5:
The skin will easily and quickly come off from the temperature difference. You don't have to remove the skin from tomatoes, then skip these steps.
Step 6:
Cut tomatoes into quarters, remove the hard part of the stalk. Cut the tomatoes in any way, I cut them into slices.
Step 7:
Select the mode suitable for frying on your slow cooker. I have it "Baking". Set the time to 15 minutes. Pour vegetable oil and press start. After a minute, when the oil warms up, put the onion in a bowl. Fry it, stirring, for a couple of minutes, until transparent.
Step 8:
Then put the minced meat. Break up large lumps with a spoon. Cover the lid and fry the minced meat until the end of the program, stir it a couple of times during this time.
Step 9:
When the frying program is over, add tomatoes to the bowl. spread them evenly over the meat. Pour in the pasta.
Step 10:
Pour in the water, it should be freshly boiled or very hot, so that the appliance does not have to waste time heating it. The water should cover the pasta. I went a little overboard with the amount, I could have poured less on my finger. Add salt and spices. Take them according to your taste. I have Italian herbs and ground black pepper.
Step 11:
Close the lid and turn on the "Quenching" mode, set the time to 20 minutes. After the end signal, open the lid, mix the paste and leave it to stand under the closed lid for another 5 minutes to absorb the remaining water.
Step 12:
Arrange the pasta with minced meat on plates, serve with cheese and herbs. Bon appetit!
As I said, I had an excess of water, so there wasn't much left at the end. But this did not prevent the pasta from being delicious and appetizing. A good dish for a magical assistant!
Tomatoes in this recipe can be replaced with ketchup, tomatoes in their own juice or tomato paste. Choose the proportions to your taste.
