Step-by-step cooking
1. Beat eggs with sugar with a mixer.
2. Mix flour with baking powder, then pour it into eggs and add grated carrots. The resulting dough is divided into two parts.
3. The first one is simply baked in the oven (preferably in a split form). Bake for about 15-20 minutes. The readiness of the cake can be checked with a toothpick.
4. Pour cocoa into the second and also bake.
5. Cut the hot cakes into two parts. Let them cool down.
6. Make a cream: whisk together sour cream, sugar, zest and lemon juice.
The cream will not come out very thick.
7. We spread: 1st white cake, 2nd black, 3rd white. Each should be liberally lubricated with sour cream.
8. Coat the 4th top dark cake and sides with whipped cream.
9. Sprinkle chocolate grated on a fine grater on top of the cake. Carrot cake should be infused for two hours, and then it should be put in the refrigerator.
In sour cream and whipped cream, you can add 1 sachet of cream thickener.
