Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to fry bananas in a frying pan? Prepare the products. Take bananas one per serving. Choose mature, but dense fruits. Overripe ones can greatly soften when fried. Butter, even if it is a little, choose the best quality, without vegetable additives, the taste of caramel will depend on its taste. I used brown sugar, but you can take the usual white. Add cinnamon if desired.
Step 2:
Wash bananas well, as their skin is very dirty, and when cleaning, dirt can get on the pulp. Then wipe them with a towel. Peel the bananas and then slice. The method of slicing can be any — as I have halves, quarters, wheels or whatever you like.
Step 3:
Take a frying pan, if possible with a thick bottom and non-stick coating. Put it on a small fire. Put the oil on it. With constant stirring, melt it.
Step 4:
Pour sugar and cinnamon into the butter. Stir and leave the mass on the fire until the sugar dissolves. Do not move away from the stove, the oil may start to burn, so the caramel should be stirred, and the fire should be made small.
Step 5:
As soon as the caramel boils, put the sliced bananas in it. Fry them on both sides until golden brown.
Step 6:
Once one side is ready, flip the bananas to the other side. They will become very soft, be careful. Remove the finished bananas to a plate.
Step 7:
Serve fried bananas in any form — hot, warm or cold. When serving, pour the resulting caramel over them. You can add chopped nuts, berries to them, it will be very tasty to serve ice cream to hot bananas. Fried bananas are also well suited as an addition to other dishes — porridges, puddings, desserts. Bon appetit!
Instead of sugar, you can use a sweetener that is not afraid of heat treatment.
Since the degree of salinity, sweetness, bitterness, sharpness, acid, burning is individual for everyone, always add spices, spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
