We all know how useful dairy and fermented milk products are. Therefore, we always try to include them in our daily diet. And this is especially true for children. It is also known that cooked products at home with love are much more useful than purchased store-bought ones. After all, now very often not very useful ingredients are added to healthy products. Having prepared the product yourself, you can be 100% sure of its quality.
Many housewives have learned how to cook cottage cheese at home using various starter cultures. This recipe describes another interesting method of making homemade cottage cheese from ryazhenka. Yes, it's quite real! And how delicious it is! If the technology is followed, the cottage cheese turns out to be soft, juicy, tender, fragrant.
1. Pour ryazhenka and milk into a saucepan.
2. We send the pan to the smallest fire (or the minimum power for electric stoves).
3. Watching the mixture, waiting for the serum to separate. In no case should the mixture be brought to a boil!
4. As soon as the serum separates, turn off the gas. Leave the mixture in the pan for another 15 minutes.
5. Choose another saucepan or bowl, install a colander or sieve in it.
6. We line it with gauze folded in two or three layers. You can also use a thin waffle towel for this purpose.
7. Pour the contents of the pan into the prepared structure. We leave it for a couple of hours so that all the serum runs off.
That's it! Cottage cheese is completely ready. It can be used to make delicious desserts, cakes, used as a filling for pies or to eat just like that in its pure form.
Bon appetit!
