Cooking method
1. We sort out the currants, wash them, put them in a saucepan.
2. Using a pestle, we crush the berries to a mushy state.
3. Add water to the berry mass, send it to the fire, bring it to a boil, cook for 30 minutes on low heat.
4. We line the colander with gauze folded in three layers and filter the juice, squeeze the grounds thoroughly.
5. Pour sugar into the resulting juice, return the pan to the stove and boil for 3-4 minutes.
6. Pour the juice into pre-sterilized jars and tightly screw with tin lids.
7. Turn the jars upside down and leave them to cool completely for 6-8 hours, after which we transfer them to the basement.
With a vitamin drink, the harshest winter for nothing!
