Step 1:
How to make tomatoes with carrot tops for a liter jar? Prepare the main products:ripe tomatoes of small size, carrot tops. You will also need salt, a little granulated sugar, as well as 9% vinegar. In addition to all the above, you can add spices that you like: black pepper, allspice, cloves, bay leaf, garlic.
Step 2:
Pour boiling water over cans for canning tomatoes. Put the thoroughly washed carrot tops on the bottom of a liter jar. The tops should be green, not quite fresh, slightly dried or completely dry will do, the main thing is that there are no yellow low-quality twigs, as well as spoiled and rotten. I put some yellow mustard seeds and allspice in these tomatoes.
Step 3:
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, make a puncture in the stalk of each with a toothpick. This technique will protect the tomato skin from cracking. Put tomatoes in the jar as tightly as possible and with a small "slide". In the future, the tomatoes will soften and settle slightly.
Step 4:
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, but not immediately, but gradually. Cover with sterile lids and let stand for 20 minutes so that the tomatoes warm up. Drain the water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil, and put 2 tsp of salt, granulated sugar and vinegar in the jars themselves.
Step 5:
Pour the tomatoes with boiling water from the pan again. Seal hermetically with sterile lids. Turn the top upside down and wrap it in something warm. Keep tomatoes with carrot tops like this until they cool down completely. It can be stored at room temperature.
