Cooking method
We start to prepare a healthy traditional Russian drink by taking cranberries and lingonberries out of the freezer in advance and letting them thaw. If time is short, you can pour the berries with warm water, keep them in it for a couple of minutes, then drain the liquid. But it is better to leave them to thaw gradually at room temperature.
Defrosted berries are transferred to the bowl of a blender and crushed into puree. After the resulting puree is spread in a small saucepan, pour water and put on high heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, slightly reduce the heat, then cook the juice for 3 minutes.
When the specified time has passed, remove the pan from the heat, let its contents cool down a little - to about 40 degrees. Then add half of the honey, mix well so that it dissolves. We are waiting for the morse to cool down completely.
Filter the drink through a fine sieve, squeeze the cake thoroughly. Then add the remaining honey to the filtered liquid and pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Put the container with the ready-made juice in the refrigerator and cool the drink for 1-2 hours. It can be longer. The juice is well stored in the refrigerator for a day.
You can serve the drink with slices of lemon or orange. But mors can be used not only as a refreshing drink, but also as a healing drink. For example, it helps to fight fever well.
Bon appetit and good health!
