Cooking method
It is very simple to prepare a healing decoction from birch bark. Dry bark, which must either be prepared in advance, or purchased in a special department in a pharmacy, must be thoroughly crushed. Then we put it in a small saucepan. Boil the water and pour the crushed bark with boiling water.
Put the pan on a high heat, bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat. We keep the future broth on low heat for 45 minutes. It should not be boiled, rather it should languish. The lid of the pan must be covered, but not completely - leave a hole for steam to escape.
During the languor, the broth will decrease in volume by almost half - this is normal, and it should be. Remove the broth from the fire and let it cool to room temperature. Then filter the broth through a fine strainer or gauze, folded in 3-4 layers. The broth is poured into a jug or jar and stored in the refrigerator.
You need to take it 100 ml three times a day. Such a decoction improves digestion, increases immunity, normalizes metabolism, promotes weight loss, accelerates metabolism, tones and strengthens the whole body. Another positive property of the broth is that it improves appetite. In addition, it is a good cough remedy - in this case, it should be taken until the condition is relieved.
How much should I drink a decoction of birch bark? It depends on the goals, but it is worth remembering that any decoctions of plants are usually used for a short period of time, and then a pause is necessarily made before the next course.
Good health!
