Cooking method
It's very easy to cook compote:
- rinse the currant under running water, remove the twigs in the process;
- also wash the raspberries carefully;
- pour water into a saucepan, send it to the fire, bring it to a boil;
- pour sugar into boiling water, let the crystals dissolve;
- sterilize the jars over steam (or in the oven), put the prepared currant and raspberry berries in them;
- pour boiling syrup into jars and roll up with tin lids (the lids must first be boiled for 5 minutes);
- put the blanks on the floor, turning upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and let them cool completely in this position (this is about a day), then transfer to a permanent storage place.
Delicious compote and good health to the whole family!
