Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 1 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make rice with minced meat in a frying pan with tomato paste? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be taken from any kind of meat. I'm going to cook with minced pork. Take long-grain rice. It does not boil and will be crumbly. Rinse it several times in cold water and drain all the water from it.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Dip the rice in boiling water and add a little salt. Cook the rice until cooked, according to the instructions on the package. It usually takes about 20 minutes. The finished rice will become soft. You can not cook it a little, as it will ripen with subsequent extinguishing. Put the finished rice in a colander and rinse a little with water. Leave the rice to drain the excess liquid from it.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Peel the onion and carrot and rinse in running water from dirt. Finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and put the vegetables. Fry them for 3-5 minutes on low heat. Vegetables should become softer. Do not forget to mix them periodically so that they do not start to burn.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Then add the prepared minced meat to the pan. Mix it with the vegetables and fry everything together for 10 minutes so that the minced meat changes color. Determine the exact time by your plate.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Then add tomato paste and a little hot water. Sprinkle a little salt and spices to taste. Stir, cover and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes. During this time, the minced meat is completely cooked.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Put the prepared boiled rice in the pan and mix it with the minced meat. Simmer everything together for another 10 minutes so that the rice has time to warm up and walk.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Such rice with minced meat will look elegant on the table if served in portions. To do this, put the rice in the ring, press a little tighter and remove the ring itself. Complement the dish with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!

For this recipe, it does not matter which part of the carcass to choose, since it will still become soft during cooking.

Rice, if desired, can be replaced with any other cereal. But take into account the peculiarities of cooking various cereals! The cooking time can change both in a smaller and in a larger direction. Some of the cereals require pre-soaking.

You can check whether the oil has warmed up well enough in a frying pan in a simple way. Lower a wooden spatula into it. If bubbles have gathered around it, then you can start the frying process.
