Pan-Seared Pork with Cider Glaze

Make fragrant, juicy meat—a fantastic dish! Pan-seared fresh ham comes out juicy, fragrant, and incredibly tasty. It's great served with fresh vegetables and plenty of herbs. Choose young, tender pork; if it turns out a bit tough, finish it covered over low heat for 10 minutes.

    1. First make the glaze: combine the apple cider with the brown sugar, cloves, and ginger, set it over medium heat, and bring to a boil. Cook the syrup for 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens. 2. Meanwhile, prep the pork: rinse and pat it dry, then cut it into steaks about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thick. You can cut them as shown in the photo, or slice them into individual portions right away. Lay them on a skillet that's been heated well with the olive oil. 3. Sear the meat for 3–4 minutes per side. 4. Divide it among plates, spoon the glaze over the top, and serve hot. Enjoy!
