Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 40 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to make pasta with cream in the oven? Prepare the necessary products. Any pasta in shape will do: shells, snails, horns, etc. Take 10-15% fat content of cream.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Pour 2.5 liters of water into a suitable-sized saucepan, bring to a boil. Add salt to the water, add the pasta, mix. Cook the pasta at a moderate boil, stirring occasionally. Determine the cooking time based on the instructions indicated on the package. The pasta should remain a little firm inside, that is, it should be slightly undercooked. Put the finished pasta in a colander or sieve to drain the water.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Prepare the cream sauce in parallel. Melt the butter in a frying pan.

  4. Step 4:

Add flour to the pan, stir. Fry the flour over moderate heat, stirring, for 1-2 minutes.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour a thin stream of milk into the pan, while actively rubbing all the lumps of flour. It is easier to do this in a small amount of liquid. Mix the mass until it is completely homogeneous.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Add cream, stir. With constant stirring, bring the sauce to a slight thickening, without bringing it to a boil.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Add salt to the sauce, while taking into account the salinity of the cheese. Add ground black pepper or other spices to taste, mix.

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8.

Combine pasta with cream sauce, mix.

  9. Step 9:

    Step 9.

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater. You can use other types of cheese, as long as it is tasty and melts well.

  10. Step 10:

    Step 10.

Add cheese to pasta, mix well. Leave some cheese for the top.

  11. Step 11:

    Step 11.

Put the prepared pasta in a baking dish. It can be a ceramic or glass mold.

  12. Step 12:

    Step 12.

Sprinkle the macaroni on top with the remaining cheese and breadcrumbs so that a tender, crispy cheese crust forms during the baking process.

  13. Step 13:

    Step 13.

Put the pasta in a preheated 180C oven for 15 minutes. Determine the cooking time, focusing on the specifics of the oven. If the cheese has melted well on top and a crust has appeared, then you can take the mold out of the oven.

  14. Step 14:

    Step 14.

Serve pasta with cream immediately after cooking. You can supplement them with fresh vegetables and herbs. Enjoy your meal!
