Cooking method
1. Butter is softened in the microwave (or before cooking, you can just put it out of the refrigerator for an hour). The main thing is not to overdo it, since it should be soft, not liquid, so do not forget to set the lowest temperature or you can use the mode for defrosting products.
2. Break eggs into a bowl, pour sugar and add softened butter. Mix everything well.
3. Pour salt and pre-sifted wheat flour into the same bowl, knead the dough. Knead it until smooth
4. We divide the finished dough into four equal parts, one of which we send to the freezer (we will need it later).
5. From the three remaining parts, we will form the base of the pie, distributing the dough according to the shape (the dough is very plastic, so working with it is not difficult) and put it in the refrigerator for the time of cooking the filling, and this will take about half an hour.
6. Cranberries (both frozen and fresh are suitable, only in the first case the berries need to be removed from the freezer in advance so that they have time to melt at room temperature) are washed, thrown into a colander so that excess water goes away, then we grind them with a blender into puree.
7. In the resulting berry mass, pour sugar and starch, mix. We send the mass to the fire, cook for a couple of minutes on low heat, without bringing it to a boil, until thickening. Remove from the heat, let it cool completely.
8. We take the mold out of the refrigerator, put the cranberry filling on the base.
9. We take out the remaining dough from the freezer and grate it directly on the berry layer.
10. Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 200 degrees for 35 minutes.
The finished delicacy needs to cool down to room temperature, after which it can be removed from the mold.
We send the pie to the refrigerator for 2 hours, then cut into pieces and serve it on the table.
