Before making jam, the berries must be sorted and washed. Then put them in a stainless steel (or enameled) saucepan, cover with sugar, mix gently. Cover the pan with a lid and put it in the cold overnight to infuse.
The next day, a saucepan with blackberries should be put on low heat and brought to a boil. After that, boil the berries for another 5 minutes.
Put the hot blackberry jam in sterilized jars for five minutes, close the lids and store in a cool place.
