The salad turns out delicious and beautiful, while the most ordinary and budget products are used for it. Which is a big plus. Instead of the usual "Olivier", "Mimosa" or "Herring under a fur coat", you can prepare such a layered salad.

So, what do we need for the salad? Firstly, boiled meat, namely pork (although boiled beef or chicken, turkey, in general, any meat to taste is quite suitable for a salad). Therefore, the meat is boiled in advance and cooled to room temperature.

In addition, we boil vegetables in advance, namely onions and carrots. We boil them "in uniform", that is, entirely, for which we carefully wash them from the ground, put them in a saucepan of a suitable size and pour water so that they are completely covered with it. The vegetables are cooked until tender (soft), and then cooled (the water needs to be drained).

Next, peel the potatoes and carrots and grate them coarsely on a grater, transfer them to different bowls. The cooled meat is cut into small pieces, also put it in a separate bowl. Peel the onion and finely chop it, scald with boiling water, drain the water and cool the onion. Hard cheese three on a medium or large grater. Pickled cucumbers are cut into small cubes.

Lettuce assembly begins - the most responsible and interesting work. You can collect lettuce in a beautiful deep salad bowl, preferably with glass walls so that the layers can be seen. Or on a flat festive plate as in the photo. Or you can use a cooking ring (for serving portions).

Here we go... Lubricate the bottom of the plate with mayonnaise and spread the potatoes with the first layer, which we lubricate with mayonnaise. We put the meat on it and lubricate the layer with mayonnaise again. Next comes the onion plus mayonnaise. The next layer is spread with cucumbers, and on them - mayonnaise. Next, we spread the carrot in the center, and grated cheese on the sides.

It remains to decorate the salad to your liking and put it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours for impregnation and cooling (it can be longer).
