1. The husks of onions are washed with cool water from dust and dirt. We put it in a saucepan and fill it with clean water. Cover the pot with a lid and bring the contents to a boil. Then reduce the heat and cook the onion husks until the water acquires a rich brown hue.

2. The pork cheek is thoroughly washed with water and wiped with paper towels. Then we lower it into a saucepan with brown onion water. Salt, put the bay leaf and black pepper peas. Cover with a lid and cook the cheek over low heat for about 40-50 minutes.

3. We take out the boiled pork cheek and saucepans and rinse with water from extraneous onion husks stuck to it. Pork at the same time acquired a pleasant amber shade, like smoked bacon. We put it on a plate and let it cool down.

4. While the fat cools down, turn on the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius.

5. In a separate small bowl, mix salt, freshly ground black pepper and other seasonings that are suitable for pork meat (suneli hops, paprika, thyme and others). As soon as the pork cheek has cooled down, we take the seasonings in our hand and carefully rub the meat with them from all sides.

6. Garlic is peeled from the husk, disassembled into cloves and cut into slices. After that, using a sharp knife along the pork cheek, we make small punctures and insert garlic cloves there. You can put more garlic - the meat will be sharper.

7. Spread the cheek stuffed with garlic and grated with spices on a baking sheet or in a baking dish of a suitable size. And put it in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. During this time, in principle, the ready-cooked meat will acquire a beautiful appetizing brown hue and get a flavor like expensive smoked meats.

After the specified time, we pull the baking sheet out of the oven, transfer the baked pork cheek to a plate and let it cool. After that, you can start tasting
