Gorgeous truffles from a simple recipe! This amount of ingredients makes 64 chocolate truffles. The hands-on time is about an hour; the rest is just letting the chocolate set in the fridge. And making truffles is easy: melt the chocolate, stir in the other ingredients, roll into balls, coat them in cocoa, nuts, or chocolate shavings, and chill.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Lay out two large sheets of parchment paper, cross them over each other, and lightly grease with butter. Melt all the chocolate over a water bath or in the microwave until completely smooth, with no lumps. Warm the cream slightly, add the syrup, vanilla, and a little fine salt, and stir. Pour the cream over the melted chocolate, then stir in the butter. Mix well. Pour the mixture onto the prepared parchment. Let it cool at room temperature for two hours, then refrigerate to firm up further.
-
Step 2:
Cut the set chocolate into equal squares—8 by 8. Dust each square with cocoa and roll it into a ball.
-
Step 3:
Now you can coat the truffles in grated chocolate, salt, cocoa, ground nuts, or shredded coconut. Before coating each ball, warm it up a little in your hands.
-

All that's left is to chill the truffles in the fridge for two hours. The chocolate truffles are ready!
