A simple recipe for canned chicken that anyone can pull off. Putting up your own canned chicken is easy enough — all you need are the ingredients, the desire, and a little time.     1. Wash the chicken and cut it into pieces. Put it in the pressure cooker, add the spices, pour in the water, and set it to cook. Once it comes up to pressure, lower the heat and cook for about 2 hours. Release the steam, open the lid, and transfer the chicken to jars. 3. Set the jars of chicken in a warm oven, covered with their lids (remove the rubber seals first), and cook for another 45 minutes. Then seal the lids and move the jars to storage.
