Cooking method
We pre-process and select blackberries. We should have only clean, ripe and not crumpled berries at our disposal. We place them in an enameled basin. From above we pour water in a ratio of 200 to 1000 grams in favor of berries.
Turn on the stove for a weak flame. Cook, stirring. Then, when it boils, we hold the basin for another 5 minutes before removing it from the stove. While the berries are still hot, we pass them through a sieve, rubbing the pulp. A colander will do for this.
Add sugar to the berry puree. All this is heated at a temperature close to boiling, after which we pour it into sterilized jars. We seal them in the same way with sterilized caps in boiling water, and wiped blackberries with sugar remains stored on our shelves.
