Herbal Tea

A tasty tea for grown-ups and kids alike! Quick and simple to make. I really enjoy herbal tea. You can pick whichever herbs you genuinely like — my favorite is mint in ginger tea. There are countless ways to make herbal tea, and I'll share a few of them here. Just remember that every herb has its own properties, so choose them to suit how your body is feeling.

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Recipe one. Put the tea and herbs together in a teapot, pour over boiling water, and let steep for fifteen minutes. With this method, black or green tea loses most of its character, but you'll get a simply pleasant-tasting drink.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Recipe two. Brew the tea (black, green, or ginger) separately.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Separately, steep your chosen herbs for fifteen minutes.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Then combine the two in whatever proportions you like and drink. This way, the tea keeps all of its benefits and gains the benefits of the herbs as well.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Recipe three. Cover the herb blend with water and bring it to a boil. Wrap it under a cozy and let it steep for an hour. Mix the resulting infusion with freshly brewed tea of your choice.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

You can also brew herbal tea on its own, without any black or green tea. For this, use 1 tablespoon of herbs per cup of water and steep for about half an hour. Enjoy it hot or cold.
