Green Tea with Lemon
This drink is sure to perk you up and keep you energized all day! And it's easy to make. For some reason I'm not a big fan of green tea with lemon and rarely drink it, but according to the experts, it's incredibly good for you. Green tea is considered far healthier than black tea. It does two things at once — it can both calm and invigorate — and which effect you get depends on how long you brew it. Steep green tea for two minutes and you'll get an energizing drink; steep it for five and it turns soothing. Go past six minutes, though, and the tea loses all its qualities and becomes little more than tinted water. Green tea is also a good source of antioxidants. By the way, if you're a green tea fan and drink a lot of it, I'd recommend checking with your doctor — for some people green tea is strongly discouraged. Adding lemon makes green tea even better for you, since the vitamin C boosts the drink's antioxidant content several times over. So, putting all of the above into practice, you can easily make yourself a tasty, healthful drink: green tea with lemon.
