  • This recipe is perfect for anyone who loves a sweet treat but is watching their figure. No-sugar cherry jam is delicious! Start by setting up a water bath: the easiest way is a pot filled with water, into which you lower a smaller pot or bowl. Put the frozen berries in the bowl (no need to thaw them first) and set it over the boiling water. Cook the cherries over high heat for the first half hour, then lower the heat and cook for another hour. Lower the heat again and finish cooking the berries for about another hour and a half, topping up the water in the pot as needed. In the last half hour you'll see the berries turn into jam. Lift the bowl of finished jam out of the pot, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it cool. Then transfer it to a clean jar and store in the fridge. About 600 g of frozen cherries yields roughly 80 g of no-sugar cherry jam. If you don't care for cherries, swap in any other berry or fruit — the method stays the same; the key is just to catch the moment when the fruit turns to jam.
