There is a wonderful dish in Armenian cuisine. Once upon a time, ancient Armenians, tired of monotonous meat food, decided to eat something unusual. Sweet. They had honey, but you can't give the children pots of honey in their hands when they are sitting around the hearth to listen to the stories of the elders? They will change. And besides, a lot of honey is harmful. They thought, thought, and figured out how to make honey hard and less saturated.
This is how gozinakh's culinary recipe was born.
Take walnuts or almonds. We peel them from the shell, finely chop them and fry them a little. During the roasting process, nuts give away some of their essential oils, which makes their taste brighter.
Then we put honey and sugar on the fire, and as soon as it boils, we pour out the finished nuts. Cook this mixture for 15 minutes over low heat so that the edges do not burn, and stir constantly. We put the ready, hot gozinakh on a flat plate or dish, having previously moistened it with cold water, and level the surface with a knife. Our gozinah should cool down now.
In order to remove it, we heat the plate slightly, and then it will easily detach from it. Cut into diamonds and call the children.
