Cooking method
I saw this culinary recipe for peach jam in the magazine "Deli" and I wanted to cook it. I bought peaches, granulated sugar... The jam turned out to be very tasty, tender, fragrant. And it is prepared in this way: it can be cooked without skin and with skin, without seeds and with them. I cooked without seeds. It is possible to remove the skin from the fruits by scalding them for 2-3 seconds with boiling water, then cool. The prepared fruits of peaches must be boiled in syrup until soft. The syrup should be prepared from granulated sugar and juice, and to obtain juice, it is necessary to extract the seeds from ripe peaches, then mash them, squeeze out the juice, strain through a sieve, put sugar and cook until thick. And in order for the juice not to burn, it would be nice to add ice. Then pour the syrup into the peaches and boil, and then put the jam in jars, put the remains of granulated sugar in the syrup, also ten peeled kernels from the seeds, boil and pour the jars with packaged peaches. At the end of cooking jam, you can add 2 grams of citric acid. So our delicious peach jam is ready for use! This food is perfect for making desserts!
