Multigrain Porridge with Egg and Bacon
An amazing morning porridge — good for your health and your mood! Guys, don't be quick to say "eww, porridge" — give it a try, and soon you'll be bugging the women in your life every morning: "I want my porridge!"
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
You can use any grain flakes you like for this porridge — I use a 5-grain blend. Bring the broth to a boil, pour it over the flakes, and simmer for a couple of minutes. Salt lightly, keeping in mind that the bacon will add saltiness. Cover the flakes with a lid and drape a towel over the pot so the porridge can steam and set.
-
Step 2:
Grate the cheese.
-
Step 3:
Fry the egg in butter or oil, then sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and salt.
-
Step 4:
Fry the bacon in a dry skillet.
-
Step 5:
Spoon a serving of porridge into a warm bowl, sprinkle generously with cheese, top with a strip of bacon and a sunny-side-up egg, and add cayenne to taste. Serve immediately!
