  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

How to fry pink salmon in a grill pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. For frying in a grill pan, you can use fish fillets, steaks or take whole fish. The fish carcass can be cut lengthwise into 2 parts or cut into steaks, 2-3 cm thick. It is convenient to cut fish when it has not defrosted a little yet. Then let it thaw completely in the cut form. I use Provencal herbs as a spice.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Wash the fish in running water and dry with a paper towel. I decided to cut the fish carcass into portioned steaks. Sprinkle each piece of mute with lemon juice. This will remove such an intrusive fishy smell.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

Then sprinkle the fish on both sides with a little salt and spice. Leave it for about 15 minutes so that it is slightly marinated.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Before frying, brush the fish with a small amount of olive oil on both sides. It is convenient to do this with a silicone brush.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Put the grill pan on the fire and preheat it to a hot state. With the same brush, brush the frying pan with oil a little. Put the prepared fish steaks in a hot frying pan and fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

If a piece of fish is not yet separated from the pan, then it is still ready. Wait a little longer. Well-fried fish easily departs from the pan.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7.

Serve the finished fish immediately hot. pink salmon on a grill pan is very tasty! Complement the steaks with herbs, fresh vegetables or baked potatoes. Enjoy your meal!

Pink salmon is quite dry fish, but due to the fact that it is fried at high temperature and thanks to the grill strips, all the juices remain inside the pieces.

If you use ready-made spice mixes, be sure to read the composition on the package. Often, salt is already present in such mixtures, take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting the dish.

Since the degree of salinity is individual for everyone, always add spices and seasonings, focusing on your taste! If you put some of the seasonings for the first time, then keep in mind that there are spices that it is especially important not to shift (for example, chili pepper).
