Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients according to the list.
Step 2:
Forks of white cabbage are cleaned from the upper unpresentable leaves, cut out the stalk. We cut the cabbage into pieces, pass them through a meat grinder or grind them with a blender. You can do this with a conventional kitchen knife. The main thing is that the cabbage is juicy and young. In a bowl with cabbage, add a pinch of salt, mix it with your hands, the released juice does not need to be drained.
Step 3:
Peel the onion and cut into cubes. We put minced meat in a bowl, it is better to use mixed pork and beef in equal proportions, the cutlets will be juicy, tender and delicious. Add minced cabbage, onion, spices to taste: salt and ground black pepper to the minced meat. Mix the mass thoroughly.
Step 4:
We also drive a chicken egg into the bowl, it is needed for "fastening" minced meat so that the cutlets do not crumble during frying. Mix the minced meat until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 5:
In order for the ingredients to combine well and be saturated with spices, it is better to put the cooked minced meat in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 6:
Then with wet hands we form small-sized cutlets. We roll them on both sides in flour. If desired, the flour can be replaced with breadcrumbs.
Step 7:
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. We put the cutlets on it. Fry the cutlets on medium heat on both sides until browned.
Step 8:
Then pour a small amount of water into the pan. Cover the pan with a lid and fry the cutlets for about 30 minutes over medium heat. Cabbage cutlets with minced meat are ready. The dish can be served to the table, with sour cream, mayonnaise or other sauce, fresh herbs and bread, optionally with or without a side dish. Bon appetit!
