Step 1:
How to make pork with gravy in a slow cooker? Prepare the specified ingredients. Pork is better to take fillets without bones and fresh. If the meat is frozen, then it should be thawed beforehand. Medium-sized onions and carrots. Salt, pepper to taste, vegetable oil for frying. I have tomato paste in the form of a strong tomato sauce with spices, you can replace it with tomatoes in their own juice. Flour is added to thicken the sauce.
Step 2:
Rinse pork well under running water, free it from the remnants of bones and tendons. Dry with a paper towel or napkins. Cut the pork into small pieces, squares or strips.
Step 3:
Pour a little vegetable oil into the bowl of the slow cooker. Turn on the "Frying" mode. As soon as the bottom of the bowl is heated, lay out the sliced pieces of pork and fry the meat for a few minutes so that each piece is lightly fried.
Step 4:
Wash carrots under running water, peel, cut off unnecessary parts. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Step 5:
Wash the onion under running water and peel off the husk, cut off the tail. Cut the onion into medium squares.
Step 6:
Add grated carrots, chopped onions, tomato paste to the fried meat. Mix everything and continue to fry in the same mode for 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 7:
Add salt and pepper to taste, mix.
Step 8:
Add the required amount of flour, mix everything. Pour in water (about a glass, but you can add more if you like liquid gravy, and less - focus on your taste and technique), I have water about 1 cm does not cover the products stacked in a slow cooker (see photo), and mix everything again. Taste with salt, add if necessary. Turn on the "Stewing" mode and simmer the pork with gravy for about an hour or until the meat is ready.
Step 9:
Serve pork with tomato sauce hot, putting pieces of meat on the side and pouring sauce. Potatoes, pasta, buckwheat, rice are suitable for garnish. I had pork with gravy for dinner for the whole family, I served it with mashed potatoes the old-fashioned way.
