  • How do you make oven-baked potatoes with pork belly?
    1. Peel and wash the potatoes, then boil them for about 5–7 minutes from the time the water comes to a boil.
    1. Cut the parboiled potatoes into large pieces, put them in a baking dish, season with salt and pepper, and spoon over the sour cream.
    1. Peel the onion, slice it into thin half-moons, and add it to the potatoes. Toss everything to distribute the sour cream and seasonings evenly. Scatter the rosemary over the top for a fragrant, herby aroma.
    1. Cut the pork belly into large pieces and arrange them over the top.
    1. Put the dish in an oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 40 minutes.
  • Serve the dish hot.
  • Enjoy!
  • Keep in mind that every oven is different — temperatures and cooking times may vary from what's given here.
  • Every oil is good only up to a certain temperature — its smoke point, past which it starts to burn and form harmful compounds. Choose an oil with a high smoke point for frying.
  • If you use a ready-made spice blend, read the label — many already contain salt, so adjust accordingly to avoid over-salting.
