I really like beef dishes, especially in combination with vegetables, as in this version. If it is cooked properly, the meat turns out to be quite tasty and not tough. This meat is considered lean, since it is not fat at all, unlike pork. Given this fact, it is perfect for those who count calories and monitor their weight. Beef stew can be served with some kind of side dish or just like that, since vegetables already serve as a side dish. But I still sometimes serve boiled rice to it - it also turns out delicious.
