Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
This recipe is dedicated to a very tasty dish. From it you will learn how to cook beef in sweet sauce. So, to begin with, let's take all the products we need from the list.
Step 2:
We start by pouring prunes and dried apricots with cool water and leaving them to soak for one hour. After this time, the water is drained, and the berries that have gathered water are dried with a paper towel.
Step 3:
Now cut the dried fruits into small oblong pieces.
Step 4:
Then we take the sweet pepper, wash it, peel it from the seeds and cut it into thin strips. Parsley greens are also washed, dried and finely chopped with a knife. Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings.
Step 5:
After that, we take the pre-washed and dried beef pulp and cut it into portions. Now we beat it off a little, rub it with salt and pepper to your taste.
Step 6:
Next, we spread the prepared meat on a hot frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil, add onions to it.
Step 7:
With continuous stirring, fry the meat over medium heat until a golden crust forms, the onion will tire well during this time.
Step 8:
Then we transfer the finished meat and onion to the prepared roaster, add prunes, dried apricots, sweet pepper. Pour all this mass with freshly squeezed apple juice and simmer on low heat under the lid for about an hour.
Step 9:
Our dish is ready!
Step 10:
Bon appetit!
I really like beef dishes, especially in combination with vegetables, as in this version. If it is cooked properly, the meat turns out to be quite tasty and not tough. This meat is considered lean, since it is not fat at all, unlike pork. Given this fact, it is perfect for those who count calories and monitor their weight. Beef stew can be served with some kind of side dish or just like that, since vegetables already serve as a side dish. But I still sometimes serve boiled rice to it - it also turns out delicious.
