Cooking method

  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Cut the meat into whatever size pieces you like and put them in a bowl — any size bowl works.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

Stir the seasonings into the meat: salt, pepper, cumin seeds, and soy sauce. You can add a splash of vegetable oil for good measure.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

Add the wine. Feel free to adjust the marinade proportions if the amounts here aren't to your taste. Either way, plan on the standard two hours to marinate.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Thread the marinated pieces onto wooden skewers — about half a dozen pieces each, more or less depending on their size. Set the skewers on a wide, flat plate. The pieces shouldn't touch one another, so be sure to leave gaps between them.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Now for the main event. Put the plate of skewers in the microwave, set it to the highest power, and cook for up to five minutes, then flip and give it another five. Keep an eye on the pork — you may need considerably less time (or maybe you like your meat a little less done).

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

    The kebab is done!

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

    Enjoy!

  8. Step 8:

    Step 8

    So good!
