Chicken Patties with Egg

Chicken patties are the most tender and juicy — lighter and delicious. Chicken is my favorite food, and I know how to turn this bird into all kinds of dishes. Just recently I found a new recipe for ground chicken patties. It's really tasty and, in a way, light too. Let me walk you through how to make them.

  • So, you can use store-bought ground chicken or grind it yourself (breast meat is best, since it's leaner and lower in calories). Add the beaten eggs, finely chopped onion, milk, flour, and crushed garlic to the ground chicken. Season with salt and pepper and knead well. The mixture is ready! Now shape the patties, greasing your hands with vegetable oil first. You can make them any shape you like — rounds, ovals, even hearts. Set the patties in a skillet of hot oil and fry for a few minutes on each side. Then pour in a cup of water, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Once they're done, plate them up. Serve with potatoes — fries or mashed.
