- Peel and wash the potatoes, cut them into quarters, put them in a saucepan, cover with water, add salt, set over the heat, and boil until tender.
- Drain the boiled potatoes and mash them. Once the mash has cooled a bit, crack in the egg, add the flour, and mix thoroughly.
- Take a small amount of the potato dough, flatten it into a round, set a hot dog on it, and wrap it up to form a kind of turnover.
- Bread each one in flour, then fry in hot vegetable oil on all sides until nicely golden brown.
- Transfer the potato-wrapped sausages to a paper towel to blot off excess oil.
- Serve hot, with your favorite sauce or sour cream.
