Cooking method
We wash the chicken fillet. Dry with a paper towel. Cut into small pieces.
You can take chicken breast together with fillet. Cut off the white meat and cut it into pieces. And from the bone you can cook a light and delicious broth.
Fry the fillet pieces in a saucepan with the addition of a small amount of vegetable oil for 10 minutes. Periodically turn the pieces over so that an appetizing crust is formed. Thus, the meat will retain its juiciness.
While the chicken is cooking, peel the carrots, onion, pumpkin.
Cut the onion into half rings. Pumpkin cubes, and carrots in circles or semicircles (if you have a large carrot).
If desired, you can add Bulgarian pepper or tomato to the dish.
Do not cut vegetables finely. Otherwise, they will soften and get lost in the dish.
Add onion to the fillet. Fry it a little until golden brown.
Then add carrots, pumpkin, tomato paste or those vegetables that you cut for this dish. For a more piquant taste, you can add a couple of cloves of garlic, previously finely chopped. Mix everything together. Close the lid and simmer for 15 minutes.
Then add the washed buckwheat. It is advisable to rinse the cereal two or three times under running water, so that the liquid is transparent, without various impurities.
Fill everything with 1.5 cups of water. Salt.
Spices and seasonings are an important detail in the preparation of a dish. Don't forget about them. To enhance the taste, you can add oregano, red paprika, turmeric or even ginger.
Cook for another 20 minutes. After this time, let the dish brew for another 10 minutes. So the cereal will become more tender. And only then serve it to the table.
When serving, you can decorate the dish with finely chopped fresh herbs.
Enjoy your meal.
