Step 1:
How to make chicken breasts with champignons in sour cream? Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2:
Chicken breasts (white meat is better for this dish than from the legs), chop and cut into small pieces.
Step 3:
Cut the onion into rings or cubes.
Step 4:
Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan or deep frying pan, heat it and pass the onion until transparent, adding dried basil to it.
Step 5:
Add the chopped champignons to the onion and fry them for 5-7 minutes.
Step 6:
In parallel, fry the chicken in another frying pan, add salt and season with seasoning. You can take a special seasoning for chicken, which happens in the store, but you can use different spices to your taste.
Step 7:
Now transfer the fried mushrooms with onions and basil to a frying pan with chicken, pour fresh sour cream over everything and simmer until tender for about half an hour.
Step 8:
When serving, you can sprinkle with herbs.
Bon appetit!
Important! An incorrectly selected frying pan can ruin even the best recipe. All the details on how to choose the perfect frying pan for different dishes read here .
Buy fresh mushrooms of medium size, snow-white color without spots, damage, rot smell. They should not be slippery to the touch. Thoroughly rinse the mushrooms from the ground under a stream of warm or cold water. Cut out the damaged places, if there are any. Miniature mushrooms up to 2 cm in size do not need to be cleaned at all, it is enough to rinse them well. Larger champignons are recommended to be cleaned from films.
Any oils are useful only until a certain temperature is reached - the point of smoking, at which the oil begins to burn and toxic substances, including carcinogens, are formed in it. How to determine the roasting temperature and choose the best oil for frying, and which is better not to use at all, read here .
