Beef with kiwi and cheese

Juicy beef slices with kiwi slices under cheese. I found this dish a long time ago on the pages of a professional culinary magazine. I was attracted by the combination of meat with kiwi. I really like meat with fruits, but I haven't cooked anything with kiwi before. In order for the beef to retain its juiciness, it is advisable to beat it well and quickly fry it over high heat.

Cooking method

Cooking time: 1 h 20 min

1. Wash the beef tenderloin, dry it and cut it across the fibers into 12 slices.

2. Lightly chop off the beef slices on both sides, add salt, pepper and fry over high heat in vegetable oil until a golden crust forms.

3. Transfer the fried pieces of beef to a foil-lined baking sheet.

4. Peel kiwi and cut into slices.

5. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

6. Grease each piece of beef with mayonnaise, put kiwi slices on top. Sprinkle the meat with grated cheese.

7. Place the beef pan in a preheated oven to 200 °C and bake until a ruddy cheese crust forms.

8. Serve beef with a side dish of fresh vegetables and herbs.
