Battered Wafer Sheets with Meat Filling

A simple, quick appetizer made from wafer sheets and ground meat.

    1. Season and cook the ground meat however you like. 2. Spread a thin layer of the cooked meat over one wafer sheet and top it with a second sheet. Repeat with all the sheets (I had 7, so I cut the last one in half). 3. Let the stacked wafers sit for about 5 minutes so they soften from the moisture in the meat. 4. Meanwhile, make the batter: beat 2 eggs with a pinch of salt. 5. Once the wafers have softened, cut them into strips that are easy to fry and eat. 6. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat it up. Dip each strip in the batter and fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side.
