Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepared the necessary products for cooking the dish. The meat was well washed, dried and cut into medium-sized pieces.
Step 2:
Carrots washed, peeled and cut into rings and half rings.
Step 3:
Peeled and cut the onion into a large cube.
Step 4:
Peeled potatoes and cut into large pieces.
Step 5:
Pour lard and vegetable oil into the cauldron, heat it over high heat. I put the meat in the cauldron, stirring. Lightly fry it until golden brown.
Step 6:
I add carrots and onions to the meat, cover it with a lid and let it simmer until the onions are ready.
Step 7:
Add spices and bay leaf. I mix everything up.
Step 8:
I add the prepared potatoes, season them with spices a little more, pour boiling water to cover the whole potatoes with liquid. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cover with a lid and cook, stirring until the potatoes are ready.
Step 9:
I put the finished roast on plates, season with chopped garlic and herbs and serve it to the table. Enjoy your meal!!!
