Mushroom and Rice Balls

Mushrooms and rice come together beautifully in these little balls. They're easy to make, and the result is both tasty and wholesome. Serve them with any side dish and season to taste.

Cooking method

    Gather all the ingredients for the recipe and dive right into cooking.

    Finely chop the cilantro.

    Grate the carrots on the coarse side of a grater.

    Rinse and clean the mushrooms (any kind works). Cut them into small pieces.

    Cut the onion into small dice.

    Cook the rice ahead of time in a little water until fluffy.

    Pour the vegetable oil into a skillet, heat it up, and add the chopped onion and carrots. Fry over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes. Then add the mushrooms and spices and salt to taste. Cook until tender.

    Once all the components are ready, put them in a deep bowl, mix everything thoroughly into an even mixture, and taste again for salt.

    Shape the mixture into small, evenly sized balls.
