Sesame-Crusted Whitefish in Soy Sauce

Make deliciously crispy-crusted fish! Whitefish in soy sauce is an incredibly tasty dish—tender, juicy meat, a crunchy crust, and a wonderful aroma. The fish is fried in corn oil, which you can swap for any other vegetable oil.

    1. Spread the sesame seeds on a flat plate. Rub the whitefish fillet with salt and pepper, coat it in the sesame seeds, and fry the fish in corn oil for 1–2 minutes. 2. Transfer the seared whitefish pieces to a baking sheet and put them in an oven preheated to 400°F (200°C). 3. Peel and grate the ginger, add it to a skillet along with the butter, and set it over the heat. After about 30 seconds, pour in the soy sauce and a little water (50 ml is plenty) and bring the sauce to a boil. 4. Take the fish out of the oven, add it to the skillet with the sauce, and cook for 1–3 minutes, turning it a couple of times. Serve with any side dish. Enjoy!
