Honey-Glazed Salmon
Simple, quick, and delicious honey-glazed salmon. In just 15 minutes you get tender, juicy fish with a sweet-and-tangy caramelized crust right on your table.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather your ingredients.
-
Step 2:
In a small bowl, whisk the honey and soy sauce together with a fork until smooth.
-
Step 3:
Season the salmon steaks with salt and black pepper.
-
Step 4:
Dredge the steaks in flour, shaking off any excess.
-
Step 5:
Brush the salmon steaks all over with the honey-soy mixture.
-
Step 6:
Heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Keep the heat moderate the whole time—if the pan gets too hot, the glaze will scorch. Cook the salmon steaks for about 4 minutes per side, until the crust turns golden brown and caramelized.
-
Step 7:
Let the fish rest for a couple of minutes so it finishes cooking in its own residual heat. Serve drizzled with fresh lemon juice and sprinkled with finely chopped green onion. Enjoy!
